Mission good, weather merely annoying

David Fann said that there may be some cause of concern amoung you, considering the storms in the area, so he wanted me to give you the weather update. It rained really hard in Catacamas (where the computer dudes are working), but Las Delicias (where the rest of the group is in the mountains) didn't even get any rain. The weather reports are showing that most of the storm has passed and it's looking like there will be scattered showers and clouds until Tuesday and possibly later. Most of the tropical storm broke on the mountains on the western side of the continent, so by the time it got to their area it was just some good hard rain.

In my experience, this is very common. So, be at peace. They are fine and dandy. Also, when David called from the satellite phone yesterday, he told me that the solar crew finished their project and are rejoicing in the outcome! Now they are helping the reinforcement crew with the Cedeco building. It is a much bigger project, so they probably need all hands on deck. The computer guys are going up there to visit them this weekend, but will be back at PrediSan to train the staff with their new database on Monday. Of course, someone from that crew will probably give more information than I just did. Wow, these guys may just have some time at the end of their trip to relax and enjoy Honduras!

Dear All - especially Dick -

I was away for three days and couldn't get access to your updates and just felt lost without them. I am so happy for you all and especially proud of the Solar Team for converting Mission Impossible into Mission Accomplished. Wow! Now the whole team can unite this weekend into a really big team effort and accomplish what we mere mortals can only dream of.

Prayers are definitely with the computer gurus to be able to further train the Predisan crew in the best use of the software they have installed. You may have the most difficult mission if the language barrier is a problem, and I have no doubt that it could be. We'll just pray that the Holy Spirit gives someone the ability to interpret computer-ese.

A personal note - Please give Dick my love and tell him that Steve Flatt left a message Friday morning with some good news about funding for the Bible Building thermal project. Also, I don't know how much using the satellite phone costs and I really don't care - when and if you make a trip like this again, I need to hear your sweet voice at some point during the trip.

You guys are all the Best! We are so very proud of your zeal for The Lord and His work and your zest for life. I just want to hug you all! I can't wait to see you in Nashville on Wednesday night.

Mary Ann

Note to Dick, Fred, Karla, Jeremiah, and any others that attend Brentwood Hills:

Frank McCreary announced last night (with tongue in cheek) that the next engineering mission for you will be to re-vamp the air conditioning system in our auditorium. Now that will really be Mission Impossible!

I'm praying for you constantly and looking forward to hearing all of the stories. A Party is being planned!

Love to you!
Mary Ann
